Cookie Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

1. What this covers

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies WellsManager sets on wellsmanager.com and what each one is for. For how we handle the rest of your data, see our Privacy Policy.

2. Cookies we set

Cookie Set by What it does Lasts
wells_manager_session WellsManager Keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Not readable by scripts on the page. 2 hours
XSRF-TOKEN WellsManager Protects forms and requests from being sent by another website on your behalf. 2 hours
_ga Google Analytics Tells one visitor from another so we can count visits. Up to 2 years
_ga_GBT16284QV Google Analytics Keeps track of a single visit, such as which pages were viewed. Up to 2 years

The first two are strictly necessary: without them you cannot sign in or submit a form safely. The Google Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. They only count visits and page views. We do not use them for advertising.

3. Other things stored in your browser

  • Display preferences: your light or dark theme choice, and which navigation groups you have open, are kept in your browser’s local storage. They are not cookies and are never sent to our servers.
  • Your cookie choice: whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies is kept in local storage under wm-cookie-consent, so we do not ask again for 12 months.
  • Ahrefs Web Analytics: we use it to measure traffic to the public pages. It does not set cookies.

4. Your choices

You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, use Google’s browser add-on.

You can also change your analytics choice here at any time.
